Okay if you knew more about me that would be a read, but I’m choosing to walk away silently. No personal shade intended! My apologies Lol i’m only kidding! I agree with you 100%, I’m just being silly. I went to a good school that didn’t specialize in what I studied in, so it’s basically like having gone to a state school for my field but just with 10x more debt. I’m not bitter at all! |

I looooove when they dive into the backgrounds of these really small D1 schools that focus on things like medicine or engineering. The kids at Pitt, Purdue, and Creighton, etc don’t get as much love as the Stanford kids, but there’s simply no way to breeze through college and end up being a nurse, doctor, or engineer. They are the real definition of student athletes. Fun fact! People in the engineering field hold much higher regard for Purdue grads than Stanford grads. Source: my partner, who’s in engineering 😃 currently getting my (engineering) masters from Purdue and I cannot imagine trying to be a student athlete and take some of these classes. Like the sheer amount of labs that you need to miss! |
