If MN can stay in system, they will be fine. Wucherer and Grote need to step up offensively, otherwise it’s going to be a long night.

Undefeated Auburn is on the road for the first time this season, fresh off a win over #15 Florida State.
The Tigers are hitting .246 on the season while holding their opponents to just .138.

I feel like this match will really show how the season is going to go for the Gophers. If they can take this one in three, while staying in system, I think we will be okay. If not, it might be another rough one for the Gophers.
After dropping three 5 setters to start, this team needs some urgency on righting the ship.

I think this match comes down to how quickly Auburn adjusts to being on the road and up against a really quality Minnesota team. Lots of Freshmen on the court experiencing this type of environment for the first time. If they settle down quickly, it should be a great game. If they are shell shocked out of the gate, it could be a short night. I am hoping for a great match and quality play from both sides.

Winning the match in any number of sets will be a good sign. Not sure the ship needs righting at all, regardless. But if it goes to 5, hopefully they will prevail again like they did against #1 Texas. |

Wurcherer will be targeted in SR tonight. She needs to hold up or be replaced by Acevado in a timely manner to keep us upright.
Mel needs to vary our offense by setting middle and BICs as Auburn is a good blocking team with 3.08 blocks/set (Gophs are at 2.5).
Also, serve tough.
