Arias with Tosia
She was inspired to come to UW by the community around Badger vball.
Knew who Orzol was, so knew UW volleyball through her.
Orzol may not have known about her! she was older. Tosia transferred to Orzol's HS for her last year.
Experience with US was Times Square (haha). Likes the community in Madison.
Came to US to connect vball and education to develop a plan B. Much easier in the states than Europe.
She is a fire player. Likes to be loud on the court. Enjoys playing. Finds the other players inspiring.
At first was shy. Found every was louder than her! She has started to adjust.

White on no setter offense.
Compensating for Marquette's speed on the antennas.
Need to offset that with a net presence. Decided to go with a big front row that can transition.
Sarah and Anna on the pins gave them options to compensate. CC has good hands as a middle. GG picks up in BR.
White on Troy
Both pins are undersized. Reminds him of Gillen.
Middle (I think) hitting 0.500 behind the setter.

Sheffield
Franklin: Had one of those matches she will remember for the rest of her life. Had serious back problems. Has as good avision as anybody in the game.
Smrek: They are 6-0 when she gets 15 or more kills. Over 10 kills they win 97%. A critical player
Andersen: She did her job. Was top 10 in country in career assists. A little bit easier than coming in as a spot player. Excited to have her
Charlie's health: A few foot issues. Hoping she gets better.

Wisconsin is also done something with the lineup so that Devin is in twice with Charlie and Frank in the front row. Yep, they made Dev M1 and CC M2. Lola usually served for the M1 so there was some confusion the first time CC went back to serve. |
