Both teams had at least 2 or 3 throws much more egregious than the one that got called tonight on Shaffmaster, IMO. Shaff and Frank were the best two players on the court and no one else was within a country mile. I don't really get the obsession (which is what it is) with her.
She is good.
But it's hardly a thing where there are no other setters in the Big Ten who can do what she does.
I definitely have no obsession with her. I watch her two times a year when the Gophers play the Badgers. She was good tonight. |

Where has the Wisconsin block been this season? We NEED it to take pressure off our passing Badgers had 13 blocks. That's not bad. More positive touches than I have seen all season too. So improvement. The badgers are improving but not quite there. Gopher just played better tonight. Do you by chance know the average from last season? |

Badgers had 13 blocks. That's not bad. More positive touches than I have seen all season too. So improvement. The badgers are improving but not quite there. Gopher just played better tonight. Do you by chance know the average from last season? 3.1 blocks per set |

What a great match. Gophers serve receive needs a lot of work, but otherwise not terrible. I think WI will improve as their setter gets more comfortable setting 6’6”+ hitters.
And to the WI fan that stole my Pom Pom, i hope you have bad luck forever.

Do you by chance know the average from last season? 3.1 blocks per set In a 6-2. The last 5-1 year we played we average 2.6 B/S, which is exactly the number we had tonight. Blocking was not the issue tonight. |

When GG gets in a funk like she did tonight, she usually doesn't pull out of it. Surely Kelly knows that better then anyone. What held him back tonight, i.e., why wouldn't he pull the trigger? |

I know it’s been covered 100 times but I’m just settling down after the Pav and still shocked when I walked in to see GG in the Libero jersey, having seen Lola slay recently and remembering GG having majorifits at the Pav in 2022 and being targeted like crazy in SR.
She was also being very rude to her team mates in the back row and there was a point where she scowled at Orzol for not getting to a ball… as Orzol was on the ground. Really lousy team mate.
