at least Purdue scored more than louisville did (i think) lol They did, but Purdue was at home while Louisville was on the road. |

The truth is, Purdue beat Penn State twice a year-ago and have 5 returning starters. Penn State has at least 4 new starters including their freshman setter. Maybe playing in that Pitt match will help Penn State as they walk into a jam packed gym of boisterous students? It may help that the two Nebraska B side transfers were in Holloway a year ago when Nebraska and Purdue played their 5 setter, but neither one played a point, so beyond their experience as standing fans I am not sure it’s of much benefit. It’s the first conference match so we’ll have to see how both teams respond. And again, Purdue beat Penn State twice a year ago, but the one in West Lafayette did go 5 sets. She’s getting better as the match goes on. Her strength is delivering complete thoughts and then just being quiet. No need to add noise just for noise. Ending a sentence and then being quiet is actually so hard when public speaking lol Agree! I thought she did great, and it’s not an easy job. |

Is Penn State just that good or is Purdue overrated? Gosh that was almost ugly to watch. The Purdue team I saw today was not good. No block, no setter, bad passing…very disappointing. |

They better regroup quickly or Minnesota will beat them too. |
