I’m not trying to mock any schools here, this is just a question out of ignorance: Is Rutgers known as a school with high academic standards, the way Northwestern is?
Rutgers is like Wisconsin, NW is like UC berkeley. I would say.

Rutgers is like Wisconsin, NW is like UC berkeley. I would say.
Wisconsin is quite a bit better than Rutgers in terms of reputation. |

National rankings: Northwestern - 6 UC Berkeley - 17 Wisconsin - 39 Rutgers - 41 Wisconsin having a "better reputation" is def regional. I would not guess that a single person in NYC would have any idea how close to Rutgers UW is in terms of ranking or reputation. |
