Wisconsin is quite a bit better than Rutgers in terms of reputation. National rankings: Northwestern - 6 UC Berkeley - 17 Wisconsin - 39 Rutgers - 41 Wisconsin having a "better reputation" is def regional. I would not guess that a single person in NYC would have any idea how close to Rutgers UW is in terms of ranking or reputation. Then why are there so many NY transplants here? (*raises hand) |

By this logic Harvard and UCLA are both in that top 20 tier. Hard to separate.
Nah lol. Havard is top 3 constantly. UCLA is sub 20, sometimes borderline 25. The 25-50 tier usually fluctuates alot, year by year.

That's USA today, which is focused solely on UGs. UW is one of the top research universities in the country. Top 10 in research expenditures. Rutgers is maybe about 50. |
