Best improvement of the day was Booth's and Smrek's quick attacks (which of course also involves Charlie). Also some nice floor defense, though Rutgers makes that a bit easier.

Nice work for the Badgers. Promising effort especially in serve/receive.

Rutgers is so much better than they used to be, and this is such a young team. Kind of interested to see what they do in the next couple years.

I love the new B1G scheduling, where a team has to fly halfway across the country to play a single match on a Wednesday night. smh... ...they're probably in the air for less than 2 hours. It's really not that far. And they're 18-22 yo women. A flight from Tucson to Seattle is much farther and Arizona and Washington were in the same conference for years. People tend to make these flight situations a much bigger deal than they actually are. Rutgers playing USC/UCLA on a Wednesday is a much different story. But Madison to Piscataway? B1G basketball teams have done it for years, and Lincoln to State College, Piscataway, College Park, Columbus, Ann Arbor, etc is quite similar in distance, if not farther. If you want to look even in the SEC, Gainesville is not close to Columbia, MO. And Missouri joined the SEC in 2013. This is nothing new. Academically, it sucks. But no one cares about that anymore.

I only saw one challenge on a net call. It was jumping around I think he wanted to make sure. Also, the R2 last name is DuBois, as in the French pronunciation, announcer said du-boyce. Really? "du-boyce" is actually correct if you're familiar with Penna... From Wikipedia: "DuBois (/ˈduːbɔɪz/ DOO-boyss) is a city and the most populous community in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, United States. DuBois is located approximately 100 miles (160 km) northeast of Pittsburgh. The population was 7,510 as of the 2020 census.[3] It is the principal city in the DuBois, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area. DuBois is also one of two principal cities, the other being State College, that make up the larger State College-DuBois, PA Combined Statistical Area."

Is it just me, or did Julia get tooled way too much? I thought she did anyway.

Is it just me, or did Julia get tooled way too much? I thought she did anyway. I notices that she got tooled a bit. Also had three blocks according to stats. This is one thing that Rutgers is suddenly much better at IMO, working the block, but I was wondering if the block was set up in the wrong place too.

Good win, my favorite thing about the match tonight was Carter Booth's offense - the difference in her offensive play from the Minnesota match and tonight was stunning. In the Minnesota match she looked like a deer in the headlights, tonight was about 1000x better. Keep up the reps, Charlie, they're getting better!

I think Carter Booth is a big part in making Sarah Franklin even more devastating to opponents. If opponents have to worry about even an occasional lethal middle attack the Badgers offense will be at its most dangerous as Hilley nor Carlini had the overall talented weapons that Charlie has at her disposal. I'm still concerned by the vascilating between, Cc, Dev, and Carter and our block which still leaves much to be desired.
