Grote = angle, seam, angle. CLOCKING Grote really isn't the problem tonight though

Already looking forward to next year. This setting and passing is not it. Now I don’t know if either will improve but, some fresh faces will be nice. at least they gave you the texas win

I don't think this match moves the needle much for Minnesota either, Minnesota has top tier wins already and it's not going to be a bad loss.
But this was HUGE for USC. They took a major step towards hosting 1st/2nd rounds here.

I love Trojan Ally! I will be watching more Trojans just to see if play ball in her senior campaign!
Congrats USC!

Grote = angle, seam, angle. CLOCKING Grote really isn't the problem tonight though I didn't say she's a problem. But her problem is she has no range lol She got hittable sets and hit all of them the same way. USC's middle back was fully shading to the seam or 5.

I’m surprised Minnesota hasn’t been swept with this atrocious passing

I feel like they should almost never practice in system setting and hitting because the reality is they’re rarely in system lol LOL! You would think all this time spent operating out of system in matches would sharpen the shots but it hasn't lol I lean towards them just not having the talent on the roster to make those things a reality. Don’t really see anyone with any hitting range or out of system abilities on the roster outside of maybe Grote. The defense and passing suck. Need some more roster turnover and some impact additions over the next couple of years. I’m still somewhat skeptical of the coaching staff but will give it another 2 years before I cast any judgement there. Again, I lean towards it just being not having the necessary talent on the roster.

Quite surprised that wasn't a quick sweep. Minnesota digressing.

literally where did this come from It's from the difference in the transition game. USC sets up much further in the court on transition balls versus needing to take that angle from out of the court. It allows them to have more time to set up for the hit. The analyst for the USC-Michigan game did a good job of explaining it.
