Hey thanks for reaching out and asking. First and foremost, want to let everyone know I’m OK.
Full transparency, I just for had to get away from the volleyball daily grind for a bit. I have been truly blessed with some opportunities at my non-volleyball 9-5 job that pays the bills and getting to do some fun stuff with my wife and daughter.
It honestly means a lot that someone even noticed I hadn’t posted on OTB in a few weeks. This is usually the time of year I wonder if OTB still provides value for the volleyball community with so many bigger outlets covering the game and the way people consume media. (Don’t get me wrong, growth is a good thing for the sport.)
All that said … OTB is going to start reving up here soon as we gear up for the 2025 season.

I'm so glad you got some time away to spend with the family! I can't imagine how much time must go into OTB + full-time job + family. But OTB is definitely where I go first and foremost for men's VB info/coverage. While I appreciate the growth of the game and other outlets, I think for a lot of us, your consistent and dedicated coverage of the men's side is valued and appreciated all year-round, not just during the men's college VB season. Heck I've been following OTB since before we had this many streaming sources and you used to give links for the pay-per-match streams for a few of these conferences! 😂😭😂 Thanks for the update, Vinnie!! |
