Arizona finished Kansas in 5! So Kansas is not that good after all? ... Didn't help that Wilson was unreal. She played WAY above her usual self. Not that she's bad. But she's never been 30+ kills good. Wilson with 37 kills at .465. VERY few volleyball players will ever have those stats.

Arizona uses all four of their match points to take it 15-13 over KU! Disastrous trip to the desert for the Jayhawks. Yeah, losing to ASU is one thing, and I know Arizona is desperate to keep their tournament hopes alive, but still.

Not a major upset since the middle of the SEC is all similar 35-50rpi teams but Arkansas beats up South Carolina in a sweep. USC was about 10 rpi spots ahead.

KU has had such a easy big12 schedule, minus Utah Its gonna be interesting to see how they finish against Baylor, tcu, byu, KState, and Iowa state As a Pac-12 refugee, I am not used to these wildly unbalanced schedules. Arizona played as many (or more) ranked opponents in the first half of conference play (7 of 9 matches!) as some Big 12 teams play all season. KU was finally their last ranked opponent. So, of their 12 league matches, 10 were vs top 25 teams. Makes up for the weak nonconference, I guess, but would have been nice if they were spread out a bit instead of frontloaded.

VERY few volleyball players will ever have those stats. The good news is that Kansas isn't going to have the possibility of facing that kind of a performance again. Checks notes - Kansas gets Parra in their next match...

It's been a while since I heard Wilson's name after leaving USC. Good on her for having a breakout performance

Arizona’s disastrous non-conference schedule is really killing them in the at-large race. Its one thing to go cupcake, but Zona didn’t really get any good W/L cupcakes.
