We adjusted. We started moving back on diersbok swing, as she never hits it to the middle of the court.
We served well and Hakas got it going

lang's serving just took ucd out at the end of this set 3 ...
an emphatic 25-9 set 3 win by hawaii ... on lang's service run ... there haven't been too many runs of points by either team in this match ...
ucd came apart, but are capable of regrouping for sure ... and we know this hawaii team and their jekyll/hyde ways ...
hawaii lead the match 2-1 ...

I'd like to see Hawaii continue to attack UCD RELENTLESSY from the service line. If they let Davis start getting a handle on their ball control, the girls will start shoveling and running that 1st tempo system

Hawaii wins this match and there would be 4 teams all tied with four losses atop the Big West Standings: UC Davis, Hawaii, Cal Poly, UC San Diego(!)
Very cool for the Tritons to be among that grouping this late in the season.
and even right after that - the margin is still close. 5th and 6th placed would be UC Irvine and Long Beach State at 8-5. 7th place UCSB is definitely not out of the running either. UCSB owns the tiebreaker with Long Beach State, and has a match remaining against Irvine.
Fun to follow.
