Hawaii wins this match and there would be 4 teams all tied with four losses atop the Big West Standings: UC Davis, Hawaii, Cal Poly, UC San Diego(!) Very cool for the Tritons to be among that grouping this late in the season. and even right after that - the margin is still close. 5th and 6th placed would be UC Irvine and Long Beach State at 8-5. 7th place UCSB is definitely not out of the running either. UCSB owns the tiebreaker with Long Beach State, and has a match remaining against Irvine. Fun to follow. very fun ... (even if it's frustrating as a hawaii fan ... lol) |

slowing light and utterback has been key ... they're both still getting kills, but efficiency isn't there. (in ucd's win in honolulu a month ago ... both hit over .300) ...

hopefully hawaii can continue to keep them from going off ...
