While I was living in Lacey, I went to the 1997 Nebraska Washington football game. There were a ton of Husker fans back then, can't imagine things have changed much.
GBR!

UW is missing two OHs: Barton (their leading scorer) and Wilmes (their #1 sub). They switched from a 6-2 to a 5-1 against Minny, with Bush moving from OPP to OH1 (19k, .332 kill%), Endsley at OH2, and Fletcher at OPP. UW had 13 aces (Hunt with 6) against Minny and only 2 service errors vs Minny with 6 and 11. UW has had problems with taller lineups, with only two players at 6'3" or taller (Bush* 6'3" and Hani 6'4"), vs Nebraska with six (Jackson 6'3", Blackwell 6'4", Beason* 6'4", Allick* 6'4", Krause* 6'4", and Landsfair* 6'5"). (* = 11+ starts.) If UW is going to have any chance at all, they'll need to serve like demons (to anyone but Rodriguez). Still, a full Hec Ed is going to be LOUD. UW'll need to "channel" the SMU Mustangs (a.k.a. "Husker Crushers").
Husk the Huskers!!!

Sadly, I can't watch this one live.
Washington has had A LOT of sets where they are way behind, go on impressive runs, and "steal" the set. Nebraska has a tendency to allow teams to go on runs. Do I think that's a recipe for a UDub win? No. 😭
I just hope the Huskies make the sets closer than they did in the battle of the UWs.

You need to watch out for freshman Olivia Mauch as well, she's just as good as Lexi passing, and a stud digger.

This match sold out Washington's arena for the first time ever. I’m really happy about this because it’s good for the sport, I just wish that UW hadn’t ripped off its most loyal fans by charging a minimum of $90 to see the Nebraska match at the beginning of the season, and then turning around and selling single match tickets for $10. The only way you could get a ticket to Nebraska at the beginning of the season was to buy season tickets or a “flex pass” of 3-5 games. If you bought the flex pass you paid $50 for the Nebraska ticket and the standard $15 for the others (minimum for 3 game flex pass was 50+15+15+$10 service fee). Then two weeks ago they started selling single match tickets for $10. I hope this pays off and builds more volleyball fans, it just sucks that UW decided to penalize its existing fan base who were excited to see this game and the B1G season from the start. I wrote an email. No response yet.

This match sold out Washington's arena for the first time ever. they never sold it out back when they were really good ? What lol their record is 8646. so it was close. also it might depend on how loose of an interpretation a sell out is.... since their upper level is general admission.

Not sure how the big 10 profit shares but Nebraska should be getting a percentage of these gates

The sideline seats are reserved up to the "wood" seats.
