So does Hawaii control its own destiny for the #1 seed in the tourney? Yes, I believe so. They have the head-to-head against their closest challengers, Cal Poly and UC Davis.

So does Hawaii control its own destiny for the #1 seed in the tourney? I think? Unless UCD wins their 3 remaining games and has the tiebreaker over Hawaii. If both Cal Poly and Hawaii win their 2 remaining games Hawaii should have the tiebreaker. (UCD and Cal Poly’s last games are against each other)

Do they count the points in an even series split?

Tayli has been under Robyn's tutelage for a long time, stretching back to her time in juniors club. It is very satisfying to see a local girl hold it down as a 4 year starter. Hope more Hawaii girls stay home in the future! <3

So does Hawaii control its own destiny for the #1 seed in the tourney? I think if the Bows win their remaining two games and Cal Poly also wins out and beats Davis, the Bows would be the #1 seed by virtue of head to head over Cal Poly. If Davis wins out and beats Cal Poly in their last match of the regular season, then the tie would keep going down the standings. Each team beat Cal Poly twice, so the next might be either UC San Diego or Long beach. Hawaii beat both twice while Davis split with UCSD and lost twice to Long Beach. Therefore the Bows would win the tiebreaker at that point. If Davis were to beat UCSB, then the Gauchos might help Davis win the tiebreaker if they were to move up ahead of UCSD and LB, but I'm not sure that's a likely scenario. Looks to me right now that if the Bows win out, they'll be the #1 seed. Maybe vballfreak808 might know more.

If it comes down to just a head-to-head with UC Davis then we do own the tiebreaker. No points comparison needed in this tiebreaker. It would then go from best head-to-head record against the opposing conference teams from top of the standings down until tie is broken. If UH, Davis & Poly win out their other matches and Davis beats Poly to stay tied with us, we both have 2-0 records against Poly but Davis has losses to LBSU & UCSD. In one way UH losing to the worse teams in the conference has the advantage in this tiebreaker situation.

Yea looked like some of them were tearing up. A good chunk of the crowd stayed so that's about 3500- 4000 people clapping & cheering for them. It's like they get to have 2 senior nights

What a great night at the Stan. Terrific play by everyone on the team against a game UCSD squad. Congratulations to Kate and Tayli!

Hawaii absolutely crushed UCD, LBSU and UCSD. That UCR lost really fired this team up.
When *this* Hawaii team plays to its potential, I dare say this is the best lineup across the board after the 2019 team that Ah Mow has coached.
Remarkable when you consider how many players graduated, how inexperienced/young, and how much better the BWC is. All this with a 12-person roster. And really, a 9 player rotation...
