📜 Since 1983, Pitt is 13-6 against FSU (7-1 at home). After joining the ACC in 2013, Pitt lost 3 of their first 4 conference matches against the Seminoles. The Panthers have gone 9-1 since, with that one loss being decided by a 14-16 5th set in Tallahassee last year. Pitt was ranked #6, the highest ranked win for FSU at home. This is the only regular season meeting between the teams in 2024. 📜 Since 2001, Pitt is 15-4 against UMiami (7-1 at home). Pitt lost the first two conference matchups in 2013 and 2014 but has gone 12-0 ever since. Pitt swept last year at home, and the last time the Panthers dropped a set at home to the Hurricanes was in 2017. This is the only scheduled meeting between the teams in 2024.

Preview articles for Pitt and FSU added to first post. Nothing from UMiami yet. A win for FSU would be their 4th ranked win of the season and would be their most since 2014. 2014 was also the last time FSU beat a top 10 opponent on the road (3-1 at #7 Nebraska). Tomorrow will be only the 4th time the Seminoles play a #1 team, having previously lost to BYU (1986) and Florida (1996 and 2010).   |

Only three out of Babcock’s 27 swings didn’t result in a kill or error. 19 kills, hitting about 0.500. If she can have a good game against Miami, she could be getting another POW.
