Pretty straightforward win for Pitt, led by Babcock with 19 kills. Held FSU to .167 for the match.

Can someone tell Chris Poole you can't take your timeouts on the plane to Dallas?
That was angry Pitt, after FSU won last year in questionable circumstances. They will not be sharing a title with us this year.
Both Liv and Torrey hit above 0.500. That's lights out.

This yeehaw/lasso-esque celebration for Pitt seems new and should quickly be retired. About 1.5 years old. They will undoubtedly take your feedback under advisement.

Title changed for tomorrow's match. Box score for yesterday added. Flormarie Herdia Colon coming to Pittsburgh hot off a 30-kill performance at SMU in 4 sets!

Flood dressed as second libero?? Is this new or have they been doing it for a few matches? Rewatching, this is the first time. I have a guess as to why it’s happening. Coaches decided Stafford’s serve is better than Emmy Kliika. Stafford is also a D1 quality setter if she wanted, so she plays setter while Flood serves as a libero. It means you use less subs and get to keep Stafford on the court all rotations while still utilizing Griffin and Flood’s serves.

Likely another sweep. Only things I’m looking out for are the scores compared to the other FL team. FSU lost -18, -15, -15 so can Miami (1) score more than 48 ttl points & (2) score more than 18 in a set. Tied at 20’s in Set 4 Friday night, the SMU-Miami match was by no means a blowout. But PITT of course is another lvl.

Oh no not the delay in game because the line judge got hit on the ricochet off the dig from Babcock’s swing. Broke her glasses

Update- glasses might have cut the line judge and there was an experienced line judge in attendance of the match to take over

Babcock is 6-for-6 to start the match. Just bombing away out there.
