Boy you're dense. 96% of the fans were Badger fans and you want to credit Marquette. lol. If you want to go ahead and continue to make a dumb argument, be my guest. And no that is nothing like crediting Omaha for the 92,000+ record. Not even close. The funny thing is you're referencing a Marquette student newspaper as a source and fail to take into account the different places in college rankkngs Creighton vs Marquette bring in for attendence on a weekly basis. Marquette is 48th nationally in attendence, MUCH lower then Creighton.
The only thing I'm referencing in the student newspaper article is the picture, which shows that they're playing on Marquette's home court. It's not like that was the only option for a court. Stanford/Texas/Wisconsin/Minnesota weren't playing on Marquette's floor when they played at the Fiserv Forum. Because those were ACTUALLY neutral site matches, and not Marquette home matches.
I'm not crediting anyone for the attendance record. I'm stating a fact. It's a Marquette record, as it was a Marquette home match. It could've been 17K Texas fans at the Wisconsin AT Marquette match and it'd still be a Marquette attendance record. You're trying to debate something that isn't debatable.
Also, you realize that 96% of fans being Wisconsin fans would mean that over 19 out of every 20 people in the stands would be Wisconsin fans, right? My question, then, is why are so many Wisconsin fans wearing blue or gold? I'd think they'd want to wear their school colors and not the colors of their opponent. Because there's certainly not 19+ out of 20 people in the stands that are wearing red/white.

Yup, 96% Badger fans.
But congrats on getting Marquette the indoor attendance record! I'm sure their athletic department appreciates it.
Math and logic sure seem to be something not taught at Madison.
PS Why can't you answer simple yes or no questions directed at you? And they're not even all by me. Do us all a favor and answer this:
When Louisville plays at the KFC Yum! Center are those home matches?
I'd expect UW fans to be arrogant and obnoxious and think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. I did not expect them to be dumb. The record was set at Marquette's home match. Literally not up for debate, just a simple fact. Doesn't matter how many people cheer for what team, the record was set at Marquette.
Of course Badger fans would stake their claim to it, though. So on brand.
So Marquette fans are going to be the facilitator for an all-time record but not show up in large numbers for their own games? Listen to yourself! lol
