Purdue takes the 2nd 25-20, and is up 2-0!

So frustrating, we get within 2-3 at the end of the game and then lose

No Dean, Binham, Burbage or TdB. What does it say that every season we have multiple players out with injuries?? This is the mystery of the season that infuriates me more than just our passing… which says a lot. What about their injuries is so bad that they cannot make the 1 hour 15 minute commute to the Purdue game even. Like what is going on?? Mosher isn’t even at 100%. Literally almost half of our full team and certainly half of our hitters are injured. And it’s a consistent problem year after year. Is it the conditioning? Do recruits notice?? Can’t win is you don’t have a healthy team.

bruinsgold, I've been impressed with Carr today. She's been impactful. Same. I love what she brings on offense and her blocking. Very curious how we utilize her next year.

Can’t win is you don’t have a healthy team. I said the same thing in the Washington game thread today — a team/program with a seemingly constant string of injuries. It’s always so confusing as a fan when you don’t know why people are injured or what happened since volleyball doesn’t have the same media coverage.

If Raina wants to play pro (and I hope she does), she needs to consider being an OPP. She has had 5 years to become a strong passing OH and it’s still pretty rough. She swings well from the OPP and in the back row, so I wonder if that’s in the cards? Coaching staff and Raina are well aware of this - discussed often.
