The growth of Taylor Williams these last few weeks makes me hopeful for next year. Her passing needs work but she's getting more and more confident hitting.

How is this match on at 3:30 Pacific time and 7:30 Eastern time? Did we slip a new time zone into the middle of the country? Sorry about that. I've been sick this week. I must have read the Duke schedule incorrectly. Apologies to everyone. Thanks for making the thread! There were two threads and both of them said 7:30 ET and 3:30 PT, so I was extremely confused, thinking it should be a 4:30 start out west.

With the right coaching staff, Duke really could take over as the "premiere program" for high academic kids. "Play in the ACC! Just like Stanford! Without the travel!"

They have two really good players coming in this year that we passed on. I think the program is on the rise.
What happened to Kerry Keefe? She was supposed to be the best of the Keefe sisters. Played on the same club team as Rubin. Hitting 100.

You can't just get rid of a coach without a plan especially bc Duke relies on high school recruits & can't rebuild the portal the same way other schools can because of their academic criteria. If a coaching change results in decommits, that can take years to try and fix. Just look at NW and ND. It feels like the AD is waiting on whenever Kellie Catanach Johnson is ready to step up and lead because she's next in line.

They are both coming no matter who is the coach. High academic kids that Stanford didn't recruit.

Stanford takes set 3 25-11 and brooms Duke.
Kurt, Harvey, and Francis all hit .500 or greater. Kurt with 19 kills and Harvey with 12.

We all ready had a good freshman setter on the team, Taylor Yu, and we've got Logan Parks coming in next year who can also set. Stanford will likely target setters for 2027 and/or 2028.
