Travel for college athletes

Interesting article on BIG12 recent travel nightmare for Arizona. Gotta be tough on these STUDENT athletes.

I don't want to hear this from Arizona of all schools. Your conference travel schedule:

Waco/Forth Worth
Salt Lake City/Provo
Cinci/West Virginia
Boulder
Lubbock

AZ traded California (LA) for Texas (Dallas). The Cinci/West Virginia trip is still easier (time wise) than the Pullman/Corvalis trip and you would go to Utah and Colorado in the P12 anyway.

Granted the potential road trips in future years could get worse, but AZ is really not that affected. (Arizona State probably has it even easier as they can get more direct flights out of Phoenix than AZ can out of Tucson)

If mens basketball is chartering (I’m sure they are) and no women’s teams are, they should file a Title IX complaint.
