No, we need a few days to recover from the MN match. no kidding, that match vs Minnesota last night was a doozy! Kudos for gritting it out. When the Gophers got to match point, I thought it was over. |

This is gonna be brutal if Lola doesn't return. I wouldn't count on her returning - in general, 2 weeks is the minimum for concussions. :/ |

Damrow has been pretty good in replacing Lola, but while Maile looked decent against UCLA, she was deer in the headlights against the Minnesota attack. Carly came in and stopped the bleeding, but wasn't exactly great. |

A friend of mine who has season tickets to UW volleyball and drives Uber once in a while for the heck of it picked up Carly about two weeks ago. He asked her about being a career-long setter now playing DS. She told him if you had told her a couple years ago that she'd be playing DS, AND doing it at Wisconsin, she's have said you've lost your mind. |

Even with Lola, Badgers serving and offensive efficiency needs to be much better then we saw last evening.

I was bummed to hear that senior night was against Wisconsin, but now that I think about it could be a great test and prep for the tournament, especially the late rounds. Playing a FF caliber team while having to regulate your emotions. Wisconsin will be hungry but so will the Huskers, idk if I can take a 5 setter like the game last night. Was tough watching as a neutral fan haha.

Saige struggled with passing, as did everyone it felt like, but she was showing some real promise defensively that I haven't seen before. For me the real problem is the other DS position. I'd feel a bit better if GG were back for this. Not only is she a very good defender, but our OOS setting was pretty atrocious last night. |
