 I mean, they're all great players. There's just been a lot of 'beating Nebraska' while they've been here. Dana Rettke passed that torch & now we’ll have to see if these seniors could maybe do the same for our current/incoming team Will not be easy & I am not very confident from our MN showing At times, it seemed like The Gophers were "serving the Badgers off the court" to quote EE. If The Huskers are serving like that, it will be a short night.

This is gonna be brutal if Lola doesn't return. I wouldn't count on her returning - in general, 2 weeks is the minimum for concussions. :/ Yeah, at this point I'm just hoping Lola can be on the floor for the tournament. 😢 |

Nebraska's serving at the Field House was much tougher than Minnesota's last night. What was killing Wisconsin last night was Minnesota managing to get fingertips on "high hand" swings. There must have been two dozen balls hit out by Minn attackers that the refs called "touch" on. It was maddening. |

I was bummed to hear that senior night was against Wisconsin, but now that I think about it could be a great test and prep for the tournament, especially the late rounds. Playing a FF caliber team while having to regulate your emotions. Wisconsin will be hungry but so will the Huskers, idk if I can take a 5 setter like the game last night. Was tough watching as a neutral fan haha. No Husker fan watching last night was "neutral". Not so fast. I couldn't decide who I wanted to win. A Minnesota win would have tarnished Saturday's matchup a little bit - so I wanted Wisconsin to win. Minnesota has had a rough season so I kind of wanted them to get the W. But if the Badgers winning can keep Minnesota out of the Lincoln region, I am certainly glad Wisconsin came through. So I was neutral but certainly not detached. |

I think this one (along with the conference championship) is probably going to you, Nebraska, but I sure wish that both Lola and GG were playing for Wisconsin, to make it interesting. I'm sad if/that we never get/got to see these two teams play this year with Wisconsin injury free.

To the extent that anyone is fully healthy at this point in the year, UW was full go for that first match. No excuses, we just got beat. |
