I would say this is the best shot PSU has had since the last time we beat Nebraska in 2018. FWIW, that same season Minnesota looked to win the B1G with an undefeated conference record, but Penn State beat them 3-2 in Rec Hall on Black Friday. Really? I’d say that’s a hot take lol, this is probably the best / most skilled nebraska team there’s been in the last decade or longer imo. Yes this Penn state group definitely looks like their best in recent years, but Nebraska is just on a different level imo |

The 2 NE transfers playing for Penn State increase the hype, drama and incentive for both teams IMO, as if playing for the B1G Championship was not enough. |

Penn State... you know EXACTLY what to do The Kitties are 15-0 @ home this season and have lost only 5 sets. In other words, PSU has been dominant in the barn. Let's see if the home court advantage can stop BIG RED. The top 7 are now 97-2 a home this year. The 2 road wins, Neb @ Louisville and Neb @ Wisc. As has been stated, since the SMU match, Neb is 9-0 on the road, 27-0 set wise. Last team to win in Happy Valley was Nebraska last year in a reverse sweep. Nebraska has won 14 of the last 15 and 5 of the last 6 played @ PSU. But 8 of those matches have gone 5 sets. All time Nebraska is 6-4 in Rec Hall. |

Last time PSU lost on Sr night was 2019 VS #8 Minn (they beat #5 Wisc the night before). Last 3 years, final week of the season Neb is 2-4, PSU is 5-1. After Friday's match, Neb has played 10 of the top 13 teams, missing Pitt and KU so far. Going 9-1 against them. This will be PSU's 7th top 13 team of the year, missing Creighton, Stanford, ASU, SMU and Kansas. PSU is 5-2 in those matches.

I'll be slightly more hopeful about this if we can use a lot of our bench against Rutgers tomorrow. But I thought we could use our bench at Northwestern, and that big fat didn't happen.
