You can obviously post however, whenever, and whatever you want. My description on how, when, and what to post -- below -- is merely a suggestion. With that established, here's my primer on how/when/where to post re. pre-match analysis, match play-by-play, and post-match analysis threads:
1. Pre-match analysis
No limitations on titles and breadth/depth of analysis. The sky is the limit. However, pre-match analysis threads should be separate from match play-by-play threads.
2. Match play-by-play
a. Title should be simple: Tennessee @ Penn State -OR- UCLA vs. Nebraska b. Post the DAMN SCORE!!! (I can't stress this enough) c. Try to combine several plays into one post. There is no need to dedicate each post for ONE play. d. Commentary, even personal opinions, are always welcome and desired. e. Please post the DAMN SCORE!! Match AND Game.
3. Post-Match Analysis
A separate thread should be created for post-match analysis. You don't necessarily need ONE thread to cover all analyses. You can have several. But, I should stress that Post-match analysis threads should be separate from Match play-by-play threads. Why should I have to read page 14 of 18 for the finer points of the right side attack in "UCLA vs. Nebraska"??
In some cases, the pre-match analysis can be combined with the post-match analysis, especially if there's subject matter than ties the two. However, it is always best to start a new thread for the post-match analysis.
The above is merely a suggestion, though a strong one, otherwise I'm going to break your legs.
