We might as well start this thread, as it's going to be a great match. Florida looked very good against Louisville as they didn't seem to be effected by the tall Louisville squad.
I obviously expect a Husker win, but it will certainly not be in an easy sweep. What does everyone else think?!?
BTW, I'm (re)convinced that Jordan Larson is the best freshman in the country this year. Like many people, I had started to lose that feeling as the season wound down because she was getting lost among all the other great Husker players. However, she again performed great against a good team. 9 kills on .438 hitting, as well as 11 digs and a serve that constantly got UCLA out of system.

NU looked really good but UCLA passed like crap. Pavan will feast on Florida tomorrow. They have struggled all year with defending attacks from the right side, whether it's the slide or just a right side attack. NU also plays better floor defense than UL, so Florida won't get away with tipping like they did tonight. It all comes down to passing(doesn't it always?). I'll say NU in 4, the crowd will win them a close game or two.

I thought Florida wouldn't have much of a problem with Louisville. I think the Huskers will be a much tougher nut for the Gators to crack.... I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not sure anyone will crack that nut, not playing in front of that many fans, with all the talent they have. Unless NU comes out tight and anxious, I really wouldn't be surprised to see them roll over Florida. Florida has to win game 1 to have any chance. I just really hope Florida doesn't get embarrassed.

Actually, the best way to take a game from Nebraska is to let them win the first game easily. After that, they ALWAYS relax and think it will be a cakewalk. I think the opponents have won the second game every time this season after a blowout first game. Of course that just upsets the Huskers so they come back strong after that but you could take at least one game that way.
On the other hand, if Florida plays them tough the first game, it just gives Pavan a better chance to start warming up. She is a slow starter but once in gear, watch out.

They can do it of course, but it's going to be difficult. Regardless, here's to a good match.

Hey gator fans, you should pick up the faith a little bit. You need your team to win, or else you are gonna have to change those avatars!!! I think florida is a really good team, Jane and Kisya will probably have some pretty good games. Although, that will happen, i still have to go with Nebraska in a close 4, mainly because they are playing at home.

For Florida to have any sort of chance Jane Collymore will have the match of her career and put down every thing. I think Florida's MB"s can hang with Nebraskas's but its going to be the pin players thata are going to make the difference.

Both teams have a chance to win this and that means the winning team has to just make less mistakes. Florida is a true underdog in this match but they won't worry about that. If UF plays how good I know they can play they can pull this one out, but if they just play decent they have no shot. Its gonna come down to what Florida team takes the court tonight: the never say die Gators or the average Gators.
