I'm really enjoying this multi-thread tantrum from Bik. "Cook is a snake." "Washington is better." Keep it up, Bik. Sublime entertainment. ;D

Let me ask you this..... If Dave Shoji was pushing Honolulu as a permanent site for the Championships, touting Hawaii's fan base a reason why it would be good for volleyball, what would you think? Don't you realize that this would never happen? The committee would never make any other team travel over 3 time zones. Only Hawaii. I hear the committee is ticked off at some Hawaii fan, who "is outraged, and wants those responsible held accountable." So, they just take it out on the Wahine.

I agree that Hawaii ought to have hosted their 1st and 2nd round matches, however, I don't think they ought to be given special treatment an only be sent to west coast regions if they make it to the regionals.
They are a victim of their own geography.
They get the advantage of it when other teams travel to play at the SSC and they get hurt by it when they have to travel to the mainland.
The NCAA ought to seed teams honestly, place the top 4 teams in appropriate locations for their seedings then place all of the other seeded teams in the regions where they naturally fall based on their seedings.
Regardless of travel, regardless of conference alignments.
Allow all of the top 16 seeds to host their 1st and 2nd round matches as long as they bid to host those matches.
