After reviewing the up to date brackets I noticed the most common match score was 3-0 . Any reasons besides NCAA wanting quick and boring matches to keep fans away? The lack of true Quality matches either shows conference disparity...poor seeding ...weak schedules that didn't prepare teams or just weak match ups. Time for a change? Either a conference playoff system that only sends its champions.. or contracting the system so not every one gets in... When ESPN whines about "some womans volleyball" tournament displacing the Saints from the Dome it show the lack of respect this tourney receives. I really dont care 'bout no Saints...

Even though the NCAA tournament has lost all credibility with me, the matches themselves have not been too bad. 3-0 sweeps do not necessarily mean bad games.
Yes, we do need change, but you can't do it without proper leadership. Right now, volleyball is still stuck in the Dark Ages. We are still looking for The One to take us out of our plight. Leo or Luke. Anyone.
As for ESPN, sure they're jagoffs, but until women's volleyball as an institution and commercial industry does something worthwhile to earn the respect of the media, get used to being pushed around in the playground as if it's synchronized swimming or rhythmic gymnastics.

How about not allowing teams with losing overall records into the dance?
By virtue of their post-season tourney win in the Horizon league (what the heck is a Horizon league, anyway?), Loyola headed to Madison with an overall record of 13-17, only to serve as predicted fodder in an 18, 26, 14 loss to the Badgers in the first round.
A team that got their act together for exactly one weekend in a weak conference tourney got a bid - what a joke.
