Who would've thunk it at the beginning of the season that Tennessee or Santa Clara would have been in the Final Four? Even Miss Cleo herself could not have seen this in the cards.
I know nothing about Santa Clara. Summary, please?

As late as 10/31, Pablo had Santa Clra ranked 5th, believe it or not. Then they went 5 in a win over Gonzaga, and lost to San Diego, California, and Saint MArys, which knocked them back (particularly Saint Marys).
Before that point, they really did look like a top team, though.

In an earlier thread, I thought GatorVB most accurately and succinctly put it when he said Santa Clara suffered a brief "hiccough" or "hickup." It was a brief interruption in the team's chemistry which was cured.
