Tennessee's worst beating of the season, still a remarkable season for the Lady Vols!!!
LADY VOL VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO WASHINGTON IN NCAA SEMIFINAL Tennessee's Dream Season Comes to an End
Dec. 15, 2005
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Tennessee Lady Vol volleyball's dream season came to an end tonight in the NCAA Semifinals as UT dropped a 3-0 match to the third seeded Washington Huskies. Tennessee fell in straight sets 30-25, 30-19, 30-21 after completing a fantastic run through the regionals knocking off No. 2 seeded Penn State on their home court before beating Missouri in the Regional Finals.
The Tennessee seniors led the way in their final game as Lady Vols. Kristen Andre led the team with 21 kills. Julie Knytych padded her UT career assists lead with 36 assists. Knytych added 14 digs and Amy Morris had 15 to lead the defensive effort for Tennessee.
Head Coach Rob Patrick's squad's deepest run into the NCAA Tournament ended with a 25-9 season record.

I will also never understand why Heather Cox approaches every telecast as if she were talking to people who've never seen the game before. Who do they think is watching anyhow?

Just curious, but why does Livestats say that Kaitlin Leck is on the Washington roster? What's really bad is that we don't have a #5 (Leck's number) on the team this year.

I guess they couldn't take the time to talk about the AA teams or the COY or discuss the previous matches in the tournament over the past 2 weeks.
