I might as well go ahead and start one of these because all of you know that the lunatics will be back in full force next year and our ladies will settle for nothing less.

Posters on this board are probably extremely irritated that they have to put up with us for atleast 3 more years.

Not irritated at all. You guys put up with us Hawaii fans. It's great that more fans are coming to the board. Before, the only SEC representation was the Gator fans. It's very nice to see some more vocal fans in that area.
Tennessee loses a great deal, but also returns some strong offense. The problem will be that Tennessee isn't used to being in this position. Only a handful of teams have remained at the top level of volleyball for a long time. We will see if Tennessee can build off of this.

We are definately the odds on favorite... it's not like we lost any good seniors or anything... We still have a lot of good players, and we have some supposedly very good freshmen coming in. Not having an SEC tournament will mean this team will have to show a lot of consistency to win the SEC. If we split with Florida we have to be perfect against the rest of our SEC opponents, because you know Florida will probably take care of business. Longterm, things look very good for Tennessee volleyball. From a strictly volleyball perspective, the program is ready to take a big step. Our success over the last two years should help pulling in some good recruiting classes, and coach Patrick seems to know what he is doing. In terms of support from the school and fans, our women's athletic department as a whole is off the chain, and our women's basketball team draws some pretty good numbers. Even if we dont currently have the kind of fan interest a school like nebraska gets, the potential is definately there. As for student support, lets just say that's going to be taken care of in the future. I would have to see our freshmen before i know just how likely a national championship would be next year, that could be a pretty optomistic goal. However, I'm sure we will have a strong team next year and a national championship can't be too far down the road

However, I sense you're being facetious about the Seniors. Especially Julie, Kristen and Amy. They put in a tremendous amount of effort into this program and had amazing careers, culminating in the Final Four run. Realistically, it will be tough to replace that kind of experience and leadership. We will miss Julie, Kristen, Amy, Heather & Jasmine! Yes, next years Freshman class is loaded with talent and will be very good, but it will probably take time for them to gell. It's always tough replacing a 4 yr setter and who is going to bring Knytych's fire to the court next year? This senior class, along with Piantadosi and last yrs top 10 finish, has already paid off with more experienced recruits for '06. UT is not going away and will continue to get faster, bigger, and more diverse. [glow=red,2,300]LADY VOLS= 2005 FINAL FOUR![/glow]

National Champion losers, maybe.
Let's face it, Tennessee had a lucky streak. No repeat in sight.

Assuming Stanford and PSU can stay healthy, FF next year should be between NU, Stanford, PSU, Florida, and Hawaii (in the perfect world). I think Tennessee will be a long shot for the near future. They will have to be extremely lucky and heavily rely on where our 'beloved' committee will put them on the bracket next year.

After Losing an experienced setter?
We all know that can take you from the National final to losing in the second round.
