It wasn't the real trophy. She brought it to the match. Didn't you see her carrying it around during game 3? Uh oh... That means we have a case for UW forfeiting the match. I think the rules state you have to have that sort of thing taped securely under your uniform.

So you're blaming Joan, too??
It's not like it was an advantage. That thing's bulky. And pointy. She's lucky she didn't put out an eye!

True. But it was very distracting for the Nebraska players.

If she had already, it may not have been an "in your face" move on her part. Can't expect her to put it down with all the excitement. The statement that Nebraska girls lack class is out of line and ridiculous but I just don't see why the response would be to then in turn put down the Washington player(s). That's a BiK'ish kind of move. Well, it is the first time I think I've ever seen a player carry the trophy thrugh the handshake line. Even after the 1999 LBSU vs. Penn State match where the LBSU player took a really long time to celebrate while the Penn State players sat on the end of the court waiting for them I don't recall any of their players carrying the trophy through the line. She's supposed to be the older and more mature player on the team. Though still, as I said before the trophy shouldn't have been available to her before the handshake line to put her in that situation of having it in her hands in the line. By the way Gorfer, that was 1998 and you are correct in that no one was ALLOWED to touch the trophy until the trophy presentation. The NCAA folks lost control of things last night a bit in allowing the UW Player(Tomasevic) to pick up and walk around with it. That was careless on the part of the NCAA Officials....

Someone from the NCAA took it to UW girls in their post match celebration dog pile.

I saw Pavan turn her back on Sanja and not shake her hand. Not sure about the rest of the Huskers. I have heard that Pavan likes to mutter insulting and outright nasty comments across the net. It seemed she was just trying to get into the other teams head, now I think she is just lacks sportsmanship this happens with big egos!

Well its hardly our fault that we like to share our articles with others. (well i guess it is, we don't have to I imagine) I personally like to read various articles on other teams. Its the only way I can know what they are doing and what kind of girls are playing on these teams. If you don't want to read a Husker article or any other article for that matter. Its real simple....you don't click on it.

But now you know how some of us Hawaii fans feel when people criticize us. (yes, I know some of the criticism of us can be attributed to some of our more "colorful" posters ) Hang in there. Like you, I do like to read about other teams. And if I tire of doing so, I just don't read any more. Simple as that.

That's good. I wouldn't want you to have insufficient media coverage of your team's dissapointing early exit.

the website needs a "laughing face." I feel kindof stupid posting something like "lol", but it looks weird writing out "that post was very funny"
