Sorry to say, within the last week I was getting tired of all these Husker articles on this board and many more was looming on our doorsteps if they won the championship. Thank you Washington, you deserved to win. Did anyone see at the end during the congratulatory handshake, the Husker women avoided shaking hands with Sanja - what shame!!

I saw Pavan turn her back on Sanja and not shake her hand. Not sure about the rest of the Huskers.

Houghtelling gave one of the Huskies a hug, it may have been Morrison. I don't recall.

Hey yeah I noticed that too. Pavan wasn't even looking at the UW players during the handshakes....it was sad to see that kind of class....
Although at least Saleaumua, and Stalls showed class.
I'm not mentioning any other players cuz those are the only ones that the camera showed.

I've noticed that about Pavan the past two years when playing Texas in Austin. Husker supporters called her a class act, yet I always failed to see it. Instead, she'd give eye rolls and snarl towards fans, opponents and the ball crew and always had this air about her of a poor sport. Her obvious shunning of Sanja and the rest of UW during the handshake just solidified my opinion of her as an athlete, and her flat-footed downball into the net to put her opponent up match point did so as a pressure/prime-time player.
On a lighter note, Sanja could obviously give a sh*t judging from her well deserved celebration. Good for her.
