Since the season is over I was thinking of how certain newspapers put "the top ten" and I decided to do one for this past D-1 season. Just my opinion. #1 being the best/most intriguing story of 2005
#10 - BYU nearly entering the top 10 by going 20-0 to start the season.
#9 - Certain teams making the NCAA tournament that shouldn't have
#8 - Certain teams not making the tournament that should have
#7 - Freshman impact of Folukke, Harmatto, Fawsett, Larsen, Barboza among others.
#5 - Texas upsetting Nebraska to end the season
#5 - UCLA upsetting Washington to ruin a perfect season.
# 4 - Texas not being a top 16 seed
#3 - Penn State losing at home in regionals
#2 - Tennessee's and Santa Clara's run to the Final Four
#1 - Washington's First ever National Championship

How could Nebraska getting 10,000-plus in attendance four times and more than 15,000 once not make the list? I think that's impressive and set a new NCAA record twice.
