Did anyone attend any of the meetings at San Antonio? Just wondered if coaches/administrative staff, etc may have met with the NCAA voting commitee? Wondered if any ?'s were brought up this year regarding choices made for the brackets/seedings? I just wonder if anything is EVER gonna change regarding this? Also, what about hosting choices?
I really do believe the NCAA needs to reconsider their policies on seedings and hosting and brackets. I know this has been discussed before, but just wondered if any solid changes came out of any meetings this past week. Any info on what all went on would be appreciated.

I have already heard a rumor from a fairly reliable source that the regional sites for next year may be exactly the same as they were this year! I HOPE THAT THIS IS WRONG!

Are you saying they would be in State College, College Station, Nebraska and Stanford? Or are you saying they will be pre-determined?

I know two of next year's sites are Madison Wisconsin and Gainesville FL. It was announced on the Badger website about a month ago or so. Can't remember the other two.

Oops never mind. That is the NACWAA, they announced they were hosting. On the other hand I doubt that College Station would host and with NU hosting the Final Four, probably not them either. This does lead to another interesting subject. Who will the NACWAA participants be. Washington, Wisconsin? I think Florida might get an invite and maybe Texas? I will assume there won't be two conference rivals so that leaves out the Pac-10 and Big 10.

Florida probably will not be in it as they are hosting their own tournament the same weekend as the Showcase. FYI - NACWAA is no longer associated with the tournament. From what I hear, it is just the AVCA College Volleyball Showcase.

Does anyone actually know when the sites will be announced???
I'm assuming Madison, Gainsville, Omaha, Seattle, Tuscon, somewhere in California(Santa Clara maybe?), Colombia, Minneapolis, Austin, Knoxville, North Bend, and Louisville could all be up in the air...
