26--UCSB 27--Wichita State 28--KSU 29--Utah 30--Maryland (not crazy about this one--I had CSU)

I am really not complaining, but I am just wondering why everyone thinks Florida should be number 3? I, of course, think they should be, but I was expecting more debate, especially from that school in Tennessee.

Anyone else notice that only 2 schools from Cali are in the Top 10. My how the pendulum has swung ...

Anyone else notice that only 2 schools from Cali are in the Top 10. My how the pendulum has swung ... It is called attrition. Those at the top playing those at the top and the others watching and replacing those at the top who lose the intra-California matches. Before you write this off to west coast bias, factor into your argument the fact that 8 of the top 24--yes, one-third--teams are from California. My, how the pendulum has swung.

It was a simple observation. No analysis was made. Lighten up. I'm glad for you that there are 8 Cali teams in the Final 24. The way I remember, you didn't have to count the entire Top 25 to get 8 teams from Cali.

I, of course, think they should be, but I was expecting more debate, especially from that school in Tennessee. I guess at this point in the year there isn't much interest in who comes in second, third, and fourth etc. That's probably why there hasn't been much complaining.... that and the fact that the Gators have as much right to the third spot as anybody else with the exception of Penn State who just had a stellar year. Tennessee had a nice run in the tourney and played their best volleyball when it mattered most... the post season. However, the final poll is more a reflection of the entire season. That is why Penn State is ranked ahead of the Vols and others.
