Volleyball magazine knows nothing of the College game, and this proves it.

How the *bleep* does Ohio end up being 15th and Arizona 6th when Ohio took Arizona to 5 games and probably would have won the match if the referee would have called the Wildcat's setter on even a few of her constant bad sets like the ref for their game against Santa Clara did?

Here's how they did their rankings (and why bother?):
Finalists are two top Final four are top four Regional finalists losers are 5-8 Regional semi-finalist losers are 9-16, except for Stanford and Texas (sorry, Purdue and Pepperdine)
What's really interesting is that they went in order from the bottom of the bracket to the top for #9-14 and then from top to bottom for 15-16, 17-18 and 19-20. Kind of suspicious, if you ask me. Were they _that_ lazy?

Look at Tennessee's entire body of work. They are way overrated. Look at some of their losses and you are going to tell me they are the 3rd best team in the United States. Penn State beats Tennessee 9 out of 10 times and 10 out of 10 times if their team is healthy. Just one week before the NCAA tournament, Tennessee lost in the 1st round of the SEC tournament to Alabama. There is no way a top ten team should lose to Alabama ever!!

Fact remains that Tennessee beat Penn State @ Penn State in the most important match Penn State played. That fact alone should rank UT ahead of Penn State.

The most important match for Alabama with their win over Tennessee in the conference tournament. Does this mean Alabama should be ranked ahead of Tennessee. According to TD Cincy, Alabama should be ranked ahead of TEnnessee.

You would have had me there, except that neither Alabama, nor Penn State reached the Final Four. Tennesee did. And UT beat Penn State to get there.
Sweetspot must not be able to get over the fact that Tennessee also went into Notre Dame and picked up a W.

The simple fact of the matter is that Tennessee reached the final four. We played the eventual national champions, which was a tougher contest than Santa Clara. If the magazine rates teams by the system listed above then, they got it right. The loss to Alabama in the SEC tourney, in the second round (not the first as mentioned above) was on purpose, duh!!! Couldnt anyone tell that we went into the SEC tourney with a strategy. Lets make it look like we are not that good of a team, so that we can "ambush" Minnesota, Penn St., and Missouri.

It's quite apparent that the lady boys of Tennessee have little knowledge about how things work as it pertains to Womens Collegiate Volleyball. This fact is not surprising considering they are "Johnny come lately fans" who have had little to no exposure to Championship volleyball.A lucky little streak in the NCAA tourney does not warrant a top 5 ranking, especially with the way the Vols played early in the season.
BTW, didn't I tell you dumbasses that Tennessee wouldn't be ranked in the top 4?
