I am sad to report that Matt Denmark from Ball State was in a terrible car accident on Sat before the match against Lewis. Denmark was traveling with his parents and they were also seriously injured.  Please keep this family in your prayers. Thank you. |

My prayers and thoughts are with Coach Walton and Furnish, the boys from Ball State and most importantly the Denmark family.

That is incrediably bad news to hear. I hope that Matt is OK and that the rest of his family is OK as well.

Denmark's OK, but very banged up last I heard. His dad broke a collarbone, and mom had more serious injuries. That's the last I heard. I wouldn't expect Denmark to play very soon. He's bruised head to toe.

So what is the status on Matt, is he playing or is he not playing...

From an inside source, Matt is pretty bruised up but doin well. Both his father and him were released earlier in the week and his mom was suppose to be released today (haven't heard for sure yet).
Most likely Matt won't play against Quincy on Saturday. That is the only match for Ball State this weekend.
