It would be funny if Alix's ultimate tie-breaker criteria was the availability of her jersey number.

From a quick tour of rosters it appears that Texas is the only school that will have number one open next year ...

Doesn't the JNT have rules that tie jersey numbers to positions? No? Am I thinking of the NFL?

I'm new to this, but been a fan of UH volleyball for over 25 years. And in that time, I really have not seen Hawaii recruit a player that can make an impact the way Alix can for Hawaii. Hawaii fans we need to go all out for this girl. I mean, she is the future of this program. We need to make signs, take pictures, ask for autographs, I mean, make her feel like she already is a Wahine. What would you do if you knew that the girl sitting in the stands could someday be the best Wahine volleyball player ever. Yes I said it, EVER!!!
COME ON HAWAII LETS SHOW HER HOW WE TREAT OUR GIRLS!!!
Barefoot, I can hear it too...Alix, alix, alix...mabye you should start it off. hahaha

And it would be nice if:
1. Hawaii actually wins the match; 2. Hawaii packs the SSC instead of drawing a mere 6,400; and 3. The peeps actually made some noise, know what I mean?
Thanks, in advance.

BEST reasons to pick each school: Hawaii: Volleyball paradise; instant celebrity status Stanford: Stellar academic reputation; degree will open doors if she pursues a non-vb career Texas: Excellent academic reputation and facilities Washington: Top volleyball contender in a picturesque community UCLA: It's near the Getty Center During my recent driving trip I found that areas in Tennessee around Knoxville were easily as picturesque (if not more so) than what I've seen on my trips to Washington. Though, that said Washington is a nice area to visit for the scenery.

Minnesota has numerous things for potential recruits..
One of those numerous things is that they'd have the opportunity to emulate Stacey Gordon by knocking popcorn, candy and drinks out of (R)uffa!'s hands during matches and warmups.

Klineman in Hawaii = Alix in Wonderland That's pretty good. Blow it up and stretch it across Section F and I'm sure it'll attract her attention. Ya that would be great. And then watch as the school is forced to slap itself with penalties for booster-related recruiting violations...

Ya that would be great. And then watch as the school is forced to slap itself with penalties for booster-related recruiting violations... Gee, don't spoil all the fun It's not like she won't be receiving the same treatment at all the other schools she will be visiting. 10,000 fans holding signs that say "Alix come to Hawaii", that would be something though. Can all 10,000 fans be boosters?

It would be funny if Alix's ultimate tie-breaker criteria was the availability of her jersey number. I think Hawaii should offer her #47. Then she could be AK-47, our main assault weapon. Of course, Amber Kaufmann could also be AK-47, if she ever gets to play.
