I am very curious why people are upset about prayer? Seems to be natural to pray for your teamates, your opponents and officials. God bless the teams that pray.

It is one of those things like getting Christmas vacation off from school, even though a large number of people don't celebrate Christmas, they know they could never get these vacations changed. It is unfortunate to think how much of an uproar there would be if they changed winter vacations for school to include Ramadan, for example. People are okay with diversity, as long as it does not mean that the majority has to change any of their behaviors or traditions. A HUGE part of the reason spring, summer, fall, and winter vacations are as they are doesn't have as much to do with Christian holidays as it has to do with agricultural seasons and weather. For example, Summer was for harvest, since in the early years, children HAD to work the farms in order for the family to make it (one of the benefits of having many children), they couldn't be at the schools. Spring is during planting season. Fall is during late harvest. Winter is partially due to inclement weather and partially due to chores around the farm preparing for the onset of the heaviest part of winter. However, in modern society, these 'breaks' are entirely un-necessary. Let's just get rid of all of them, eh?

I think that their prayers might have gone like this: Heavenly Father, please find me a man, and please let me get pregnant, over and over and over again! At LBST, every day they pray, sometimes two or three times a day "Our Father in Heaven, please don't let me get pregnant"-

I'd like to see fewer people preach about religion........and more people live it quietly in their daily lives.

I'd like to see fewer people preach about religion........and more people live it quietly in their daily lives. Amen to that. Personally, I think religion loses meaning when it is unduly flaunted. I like the moment of silence, it gives us all a moment to reflect and compose our thoughts and reinforce what is meaningful to us without intruding on one another.
