www.avca.org/collegiate/MenDIPOW/DIPOW03-15-04.aspCongratulations to the quarterback of the most potent offense in the country. They really played well against the waves. Some of the digs in the 4th game second night were incredible. I felt bad for the Waves as sometimes there weren't even blockers up and they were getting dug. Winters had a great weekend too and should be commended for it. He was jumping out of the gym.

If he played for another team...he would be just another good player. All BYU hype!

I don't like his style, he whines at the refs, he can cop an attitude with his own teammates....BUT....he is a great setter and deserving of this award. He certainly helped BYU come back and beat the Beach when they played a month ago. I gots to give him his props.

Carlos has his own style that is uniquely his. I know Tom Peterson has said that Brazilians play that way and he doesn't want to interfere too much with what gets Carlos into and keeps him in matches.
So he spouts off and other teams don't like it and refs don't necessarily like it, but when it comes down to it, he's passionate and he expresses it differently than some might, but his way isn't necessarily wrong.
