Hopefully PSU will be going to Hawaii to do the Hula. They played there last year and won the tourney. But, as said before it is all wide open! Keystone Kid how did they look this past weekend? Especially with the setting and passing? Blocking was very good and the hitting % were decent curious about the passing?

PSU is good, but they have their challenges like the other top teams. Fawcett was very impressive, and could be a real candidate for POY. They will be unstoppable at times and will really struggle at times as well. That is what happens when you start so many freshman and sophmores. They are a work in progress, with a great upside and lots of room for improvement.

This has been an interesting weekend. But it is only September. Once November rolls around it is still going to be the "usual suspects" in the "Final Four". I would love it to be different, but, talent and coaching show over the span of the season. We can enjoy this while it lasts.

For the record, I'd love for Penn State to get sent to Hawai'i in the NCAA's. They don't have Sam Tortorello anymore, and if history is any indication, they'll fold in the regionals again this year.

I am sure Hawaii is precisely where PSU is hoping to be sent. Think about it. Florida at Florida, Texas at Texas, Hawaii is the regional everyone wants to be sent to. I don't mean that as a knock against Hawaii, they are very tough at home, but it certainly is the path of least resistance compared to UF and UT, which are tough places as well, but certainly tougher oppponents at this point than Hawaii.

And playing Washington in their regional would be equally difficult.

At this point yes....in December? that remains to be seen. I really don't care who gets sent here. I'm sure Kanoe doesn't want to end her collegiate career the way Tortorello did, with a loss at home in the regionals.

Seeing how UCLA swept Florida, and Texas losing to Cal Poly, now you can't be too sure about that.

December is a great time to go to Hawaii, but everyone in America is aware of that: Thus the airline tickets are EXTREMELY COSTLY, AND HOTELS ARE TOUGH TO FIND! For those reasons going there two weeks before Christmas sucks!

Hawaii stands a better chance to have Penn State play in their region than Nebraska. Even without Christina, Nebraska is dangerous.
