Based on several posts by Hawaii fans, it seems that the only problems they have are passing, serving, setting, blocking, communication, hitting, floor leadership, and consistency. If Dave can get these tiny little issues fixed, they will be playing for the FF in December.
But at least they play with heart as they were able to show by beating a #19 ranked team in five twice on their own court.

And to think Hawaii boosters think my comments are too strong at times!!!

Passing will not improve. Passing can't be fixed with the same players overnight. With the weak WAC play coming up, it might even get worse and will rear its ugly head come NCAA time.
In the preseason, I proposed two things:
1. Redshirt Kamana'o so that she would have a better (experienced) squad next year. Otherwise, young'un Dani Mafua would have to run the show. Also, Cayley Thurlby should set this final season. I just didn't think UH was a championship contender.
2. Convert Kamana'o to libero and CAT set. Just like in JNT. Although my preference would be #1 above.

Funny first post by Anonymous. This type of posting behavior should be encouraged, IMHO.
