Something tells me that while Stanford may have some problems right now, that in the long run they will be just fine Have the POY's from 3 of the last 4 years I believe and have a great setter....they just need a coach who can put it all together.....can Dunning do that, again? If they don't win it all it ain't because they don't have the talent!

I've been at the matches - the passing is the absolute worst I've seen in ages. Defense is no where to be found. Those who thought Courtney Schultz was bad should see it now. I also think the coaching staff is asking a lot of a team when they struggle with defense and then change it up by swing blocking. It's a lot harder to play defense with swing blocking - and if it wasn't too hot to begin with.....

Beachman would that something be BArboza, Kehoe, Richards, Foluke or all of them? Of course they will be better than fine.

I don't know I'm not a Cardinal fan, but I just thought it might be nice for others to take notice that Hawaii isn't the only team with problems out there. All teams have problems...Satnford needs its players to be healthy.

Who isn't healthy?? Every team has their problems. Great teams overcome them.

This was what I saw on Friday night, that's for sure. It's nice to have all-american hitters, but when the other team just has to get the ball past the block to score, it makes it tough to run a bunch of points together.

As much as Stanford may have their issues, they are going to be in contention. They have two of the best outside hitters in the country, I just think that they had an off night at BYU with the altitude and record breaking crowd. And I know how hard it is to play infort of those BYU fans. There may have only been 4000 plus, but those 4000 are louder that any hawaii fans.
Stanford will struggle in the beginning, but kick ass in the end.
