For Baylor it looks like for the last 3 matches. 4 freshmen are starting with 2 seniors and a junior Libero. I'm wondering how that compares with other teams out there. The Bears are probably the youngest I've seen in the nation.

Saint Louis had, four freshmen, two sophomores, a junior and a senior play in a regular rotation. Ther had four freshmen and two sophomores out there in one rotation. One of the sophomore is a newbie too, she walked on at Missouri last season.

Well, Florida has several freshmen who have started. With injuries, there's no real set lineup just yet. Cusack, the libero, is a true frosh and starts. KJ is a redshirt frosh MB who has started a few matches. Alli Cecchini is a true frosh DS who has started a match. Janine Williams, a true frosh OH, is injured, but I imagine she'll be starting soon as I'm not sure Douglas, the senior, will last the whole season with her 90 year old knees.

It will be interesting to see which of the programs listed above will rise to the top. My Bears are rising fast and with freshmen at key positions: Setter, M1, OPP, OH2

Pepperdine was starting three frosh (setter, OH, Opp). Not sure if that is still the case though .. The 6'6" Opp struggled early, so I'm not sure she's a starter anymore.

Nevada sometimes starts four freshmen (mostly 3), but all six see a lot of playing time.

Notre Dame has been playing: Senior libero (Herndon) Junior setter (Tarutis) and hitter (Stasiuk) Soph hitter (Croal) Soph MB who saw action in only a handful of points last season (Stremick) Frosh setter (Nicholas), hitters (Kaelin, Fesl, Phillips, with two in the rotation at any time), and blockers (Enzweiler and Kristoff, with one in the rotation at any time).
As best I can recall, typically, the starting lineup (first game) includes three freshmen: Nicholas, Kaelin, and Fesl. And a fourth (either Enzweiler or Kristoff) will rotate in regularly opposite Stremick.
