Jimmy Pelzel 20 kills to lead UCI to 30-24, 23-30, 28-30, 30-24, 15-11 come-from-behind victory over Rutgers-Newark. Matt Webber adds 17 kills for Anteaters. Andrew Pink leads Rutgers-Newark with match-high 25 killls, while Byron Goff tallies 15 kills. R-N has 25 service errors and limited to four kills (.059) in fifth game. R-N outhits UCI for the match .247 to .241.

Excuse my language ... but no friggin way!!!
Am I to conclude from this that Rutgers is better than IPFW? Or was Irvine just really up for IPFW and took Rutgers too lightly?
I hate this year, seriously!!!
IPFW should be feeling pretty bad about now!

UCI played as good as they have all season when they beat IPFW.
UCI was flat against RU. RU looked good tho. They passed much better then IPFW did against UCI.
Frankly, we were surprised UCI got the win, based on how shakey they were playing. The teams were notched late in game 4 and RU had a run of errors that cost them the game.

Rutgers is a streaky team, with talented players. When they are on they can play with anyone.

yeah they may end up in the final four but that sure as hell doesn't mean they deserve it more than an MPSF team
