Can't believe there isn't a play by play thread on this (just a Palo Alto, not Honolulu joke), but I may simply have missed it... Anyway, after two at WSU Stanford up 2-0, -17 , -19 or something like that; (sorry no live stats anywhere and have to tune in to KZSU - on the net = kzsulive.stanford.edu/

15-9 SU at media TO. SU not wasting energy tonight in prep for Huskies tomorrow.l Good idea, given how Huskies are totally decimating the Bears.

20-11, Evans doing the setting and Stanford strugging a bit with no motivation but to get the match over in good health.
23-15
23-18 In come the first team again

Richards with 15 kills hitting .400; Barboza 12 kills and .280, Foluke 7 kills and .500. As a team, the Cardinal hit .400.
Getting out of Walla Walla--oops, I mean Pullman-- is always a pain; the drive to Spokane and the flight out. Then the traffic to get to UW, which swept Cal tonight -17, -16 and -24. (Of course getting out of Walla Walla is no treat either--Pasco or sumtin like that; all those potato circles and weird looks because I both wore a suit and had trimmed facial hair... ah, the good ole days)

Were they playing Whitman or Wazzu? WSU is about 2 hours northeast in Pullman.

I'm a big fan of Walla Walla. Onions, friends, family. Nice place.
The fog is pretty bad starting this time of year though.
