How many unbeaten teams left in D1 and how many were fallen from that status this past weekend?
Off the top of my head: Still unbeaten: Nebraska Penn State UCLA USC New Mexico State
Formerly unbeaten but lost this weekend: Michigan Ohio State CAL Oregon?
Please correct me if I am wrong since I don't have time to dig into the records.
There are also a whole bunch of 1-2 lost teams that are in contention for December title. I think out of this, Washington looks the best with Thompson running the show. If it wasn't because of the loss to Texas, I think Washington would have been number 1.

At this point it appears that Penn St. will remain unbeaten and be THE number 1 seed in December, sending them presumably to Florida, if I understand the "closest regional to the top seed" scenario. At the same time, the battle for second should be quite entertaining in the Big 10 as I think any of the next 5 teams in contention can knock each other off on a givven night.

Delaware was undefeated until Thurday. They lost to Hofstra. They are now 12-1.
