In a previous thread several Volleytalkers have commented on how well CS Fullerton was playing so far this year. Well I'll see how improved these Titans are. Looks like CSF is very confident after finally defeating Pacific two nights ago and really looking forward to defeating Cal State Northridge which is another school which has a good won-loss record agains CSF. CSF had their chances last year to sweep CSUN when we had an all-rookie team.
Seems like CSF always have a good pre-season/non-conference record before Big West competition and then they just sorta wilt - maybe this time it will be different.
As for CSUN - it's gonna be another tough match and I think one of the key things for CSUN to win tonight's match is if the setters and middle hitters connect early in the first game and if it works out they'll be more than fine and CSF will be keying on DARLA DONALDSON and VAL KEPPLER - the middle blockers. When these two are on CSUN is on roll. They gotta play consistent and cut down on their serving errors and if they do that then I think CSUN will come out with a win. This time I'm not hoping for a CSUN win...I'm expecting a win. However I'm also prepared for the unexpected - a loss to CSF. Go Matadors!
Good luck CSUN!
