Sponge13 informed me that this wasn't a conference match but more of an exibition match to promote boy's volleyball in the state of Ohio.
Still, ya gotta love Findlay's effort!

The match was not an exhibition. It does count in the overall standings, but not in the conference. It was a promotional tool to help advance boys volleyball in the state of Ohio. This is the second year in a row this match has been played.

it should still count in overall record though, right? I must say MIVA is getting interesting though. Those 4 top teams are very close.
Last year, Loyola and IPFW went rounds in an unblievable game in the MIVA championship for semi's I think this year will be just as exciting.

Sorry, Benwhip'd, that was Loyola and Ohio State. IPFW sucked big time against your Flyers!

If Rutgers-Newark goes to the Final 4, i will officially quit being a volleyball fan...
...I had the opportunity, it felt like punishment, to watch them play in Stockton against my struggling tigers (last in the MPSF). The Tigers absolutely railed Rutgers in 3 games that weren't even close... low 20's in all 3. I can't imagine they beat anyone at all...

TIGFAN, I was at the PSU Rutgers match and I talk to the players often. They self admit that Pacific whomped them! Due mostly to Rutgers inability to pass 2 guys serving! Much like you did to MPSF teams. Bring your tigers out to the east and then we'll see how you do. It was good volleyball last week. Glad I dont play them now, as they use there west coast trip to prepare for the playoffs. See you in Hawaii-----Oops, Not!
